A Day for Distraction00:55 Jun 14 2017

Today has been a tough day for me and Ray. Our dear sister Lily has had a tumor removed from her lung this morning, and we have been worried for her. We decided we needed to distract from the worry and stress, so we got on second life and thought to go exploring for a bit.
Second life is our "home away from home," for which we are grateful. Lily and Dakotah, actually got us set up on SL. They are our family, our sister and brother, so we are so thankful to be able to get on there and be with them as well as our beautiful niece Anna! SL is awesome - the virtual world is so realistic, it is almost like being there.
Ray and I decided to visit a place called Yorkshire Dale, fashioned after the real Yorkshire Dale in the UK. It is so beautiful, with rolling green hills, sparkling blue waters, stone houses, cafes, horses, and all kinds of scenery. We found an outside stage with candles and champagne, and decided to dance the afternoon away!
But before I show you our pictures, I wanted to show you two that I took of Lily and Dakotah's wedding. They have not even seen these yet. The first picture is of Lily alone, right after she and Dakotah got married. She is sooooo beautiful!! I don't even think she knew I took this picture of her! Now, I am not a good photographer, so please give me a break lol. Even so, Lily still looks gorgeous!
This picture is of Lily and the bridesmaids, with my niece Anna. I am the blonde at the end, and Anna is the gorgeous flower girl standing in front of the first bridesmaid. I was so honored to be a part of the wedding!
The wedding was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen:) Dakotah went all out for Lily, even had a horse and carriage waiting for her to take her from the house to the beginning of the walk down the aisle to him! It was magical! I was so proud of my dear brother - he was wonderful! They wrote their vows, and they were so beautiful, they brought tears to my eyes. It was perfect!!
These pictures were taken this afternoon of me and Ray dancing. We were "letting off steam" actually, stress and worry for Lily. Lily means so much to us - we love her dearly! She has a heart of gold, and is a rare jewel in today's society. Those of you who know her, can attest to that!

Well, since my first comment was sucked into oblivion...lets try this again. lol! The wedding was extremely beautiful, I can't think of a better two to get married! And the evening was indeed very magical and an amazing way to relieve and distract for a while! And I got to do so with my beautiful sweet angel love wife! Awesome job on the photography love!

lol yes, your comment went *poof* into ....who knows where my love! The wedding was awesome! Yes, me either - Lily and Dakotah are two special people, two special soulmates who met here on VR just like we did! The evening was wonderful, wasn't it? Especially under the circumstances. We will have to go there with Lily and Sean and Anna!

I am so happy you guys joined us in SL and that you both enjoy it. Lily and I LOVE having you guys there with us. You both are family. Before she went in the hospital she worked hard on setting up your Guesthouse with Grace... it had to be perfect she kept saying, its for my sister and brother. They worked a few days on it. And yes I did all I could to give her a wedding beyond her dreams. :) Having you both there that day is what made it perfect.

We love being there with you and Lily and Anna:) The guesthouse is perfect! We love it! And the wedding was perfect! There is nothing more you could have done to make it any better:)
